Much like I was awed by the MacBook Air's perfect weighting with its center of gravity right in the middle, I realized that the iPhone's camera is positioned cleverly as well: For right-handers, this is the the one corner that you wouldn't touch when holding the phone up to your ear, which prevents you from accidently smearing the lens.
It's such a little detail, but I'm sure it was a conscious design decision.
